Founder of TOMI Patent & Trademark Office, Chairman of Holong Intellectual Property Co., Ltd., and Chairman of DEDEKASA IPTECH Co., Ltd., with over 26 years of intellectual property experience. Graduated from the Information Engineering Institute of Nagoya National University in Japan, and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Optoelectronics from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University as well as an LL.M. program degree from National Taipei University. Specializes in diverse technical fields including optoelectronics, semiconductors, AI/software, machinery, textiles, biotechnology, medical devices, e-commerce, and energy, with extensive experience in global patent portfolio management, technology protection, and intellectual property strategy planning.
Bob Chiu
Patent Head
Director of TOMI Patent & Trademark Office and former patent examiner at the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office, with 32 years of intellectual property experience. Specializes in mechanical engineering, textiles, software, semiconductor processes, displays, and graphene materials, with extensive expertise in patent prosecution, portfolio strategy, and dispute resolution.
